Interschools – April 2025

The WA State Equestrian Vaulting Interschool Competition is an annual event organized by Equestrian Western Australia (EWA), providing school-aged students the opportunity to represent their schools in equestrian vaulting—a discipline that combines gymnastics and dance on horseback. This competition is part of the broader EWA Interschool State Championships, which also include disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, show horse, and combined training. The event is held at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon, WA, and typically takes place over several days in April.

The competition features various classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including Primary and Secondary divisions, with categories such as Pre-Novice, Novice, and Intermediate. Participants perform both compulsory and freestyle routines, showcasing their athleticism and harmony with the horse.
